History
History of present illness:
My mom is 90 years old and went into the hospital with a stage 3 wound on the bottom of her big toe. they treated the toe and raped it and now the toe is showing improvement but she now has an area that was under the rap that is borderlkine gang green, Now the doctor is talking about if it becomes gag green that we may have to cut oof her leg up to her knee. Is their any treament or any other options in-order to avoid surgery and amputation

Medical History:
Had a coronary blockage and had a stint put in. Very poor circulation in feet. on blood pressure med. broke her hip 5 years ago. Had a sore on her leg that was leaking fluid that healed once the leg was rapped for a period of weeks. Ha dementia

Past surgical history:
hip surgery and stint put in heart

Medications:
none

Social history:
Married for 68 years still married 5 kids never smoked or drank and a health food fanatic

normal

normal

normal

Oxygen saturation:
with in normal range for age

Head, ears, eyes, nose & throat:
all fine

Neck:
fine

Chest:
fine

Cardiovascular:
poor blood circulation, possible clogged arteries

Abdomen:
stomach tube

Skin:
Thin and very dark in problem area

Plan of treatment:
for now they are treating her withSilvatene with plans to amputate if it procceds to turn into gang green
